Where is the main producing area of cashmere?
Cashmere production is extremely limited. A cashmere goat produces 50g-80g of cashmere free (net cashmere after removing impurities) every year. On average, the cashmere of every five goats is enough to make a Cashmere Sweater. Shangrong goat mainly grows in the alpine and semi desert areas of northern China, Mongolia, Iran and Afghanistan. The total cashmere output is only about 10000 tons, accounting for 0.2% of the total animal fiber. Cashmere production in China accounts for 60% of the total output, and that in Inner Mongolia accounts for 60% of the whole country. Among them, cashmere in Albas region in western Inner Mongolia has good quality, long length and fine fineness, which is highly praised as good cashmere at home and abroad. It won the Italian chaigna cashmere production award in 1985.
Cashmere is a rare special animal fiber (different from wool). It is a precious textile Raw Material. It is called "fiber diamond" and "soft gold" abroad. Since Kashmir in Asia used to be the distribution center of cashmere exported to Europe in history, it is customary to call cashmere "Kashmir" in the world; China uses its homonym for "Cashmere". Cashmere is the wool that is combed from the goat. Among them, the quality of cashmere produced by cashmere goat is the best. Every spring is the time when the goat depilates. The wool grabbed from the goat's body with a special iron comb is called raw cashmere. Cashmere is obtained by combing the washed cashmere and removing the coarse hair, dead hair and dander from the cashmere. Cashmere has three colors: white, blue and purple, among which white cashmere is the most precious.
